Out of the mouths of Babes
Yesterday while out running some errands , my wife and I decided to pick up some groceries, our first stop is the local bakery, inside was a family and did I ever stir up conversation with after I walked in with my 3 Colour Dessert Camo Kilt.
One child shouted “OH MY GOD THIS GUY IS WEARING A SKIRT , HAHAHAHAH” another had to come around and look “Thats not a skirt thats an Kilt”….. a 3rd replied hahah he looks funny…. the mother of these fine upstanding young people was giggling away, while trying to gain some sort of verbal control, as I select the goods from the bakery she realized I was standing behind her while this little episode unveiled…. “Oh my I’m terribly sorry”….while she was obviously holding back her own laughter My reply was I get a lot of comments on it. So they carried on to their car and my wife could hear the mother tear into the kids about being polite and not be so rude.
Just another reason to spread the word of Kiltedness to everyone , to aid in the reduction of little episodes like this one.
